Our school has a Drop-Off Circle; the video above should help you with how to use it efficiently. Please take some time to review with your kids so you can have a safe drop-off & pick-up. This video was created by a former Falcon family!

Message from the City of Campbell: The walk audit report for Forest Hill Elementary School noted that drivers at nearby Harriet Avenue at McCoy Avenue were confused by a flashing beacon system used at this intersection.  The device is formally called a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB), but it is also nicknamed a High-intensity Activated crossWalK or HAWK beacon for short.  Installed in 2020, the HAWK beacon looks like a traffic signal but operates differently.

Since the Harriet Avenue/McCoy Avenue HAWK is the only one of its kind in Campbell, the City has produced some educational material to help the public understand how the HAWK beacon operates.  We have a webpage dedicated to the Harriet Avenue/McCoy Avenue HAWK beacon with a short video that we would like to share with school parents to help the public understand how the HAWK beacon operates.  The video moves quickly to keep the attention of viewers.
