Hello from the Stanford Parenting Center - Mental Health Resources for Families!

The Stanford Parenting Center is excited to share that we have launched our second on-demand parenting course!

From Anxiety to Confidence: Supportive Parenting for Anxious Children delves into practical strategies parents can use to help their child manage anxiety with growing confidence and independence. Grounded in the evidence-based Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) program, this course empowers parents to reduce stress at home while supporting their child’s emotional growth.

The course contains four self-paced instructional modules, including videos, reflection exercises, and other resources. While it is currently available only in English, we hope to offer translated versions in the near future. This course is taught by Stanford University School of Medicine faculty, and is recommended for caregivers of children with a developmental age of 6-17 years. As a self-paced online class, it can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and registration is rolling. Tuition is $25, and scholarships are available for families not able to pay for the full cost – parents are encouraged to email us directly if they are interested in receiving a scholarship.

For more information, please visit our website. We also offer an on-demand class supporting parents in responding to challenging behaviors.

The registration link can be found here.

Thank you for your support of families in the community.
